LOL, I used the zoom. I was too afraid to get any closer. Such a prehistoric looking animal.

My mom lives in this seniors’ community in Florida with a man-made pond that once had its own alligator. Eventually Animal Control moved it somewhere, but I saw it – it was huge! And scary!
My folks live in the same kind of place and that’s where I took the picture. Apparently they took out the “big” alligator a couple of months ago. I’ll stick with the occassional black bear in my neighborhood, thank you very much!
LOL! I cannot believe you would even ZOOM that close! I would be no-where near , unless at the zoo……although I am probably lying since one of my ULTIMATE dreams is an African Safari ( when I come in to millions, one day -LOL)

Also I have alot of great photography books and ideas since the husband is basically a art director/designer—so I’ll let you know.
My photography effort are AWFUL—I cannot take even with my phone! I think I need the I PHONE….since my phone is as prehistoric as the alligator! 🙂
