Monday Menu – Apple Season 9-27-10

I love apples. Always have. They were my favorite food when I was a little girl and still are pretty high on the list.

I’ve made this Apple Honey Cake (in muffin form) and can vouch that it’s delish.

What are you cooking/eating this week?

Don’t forget to check out my post on Killer Chicks to find out what I’ve been up to this week!

I made brownies. From a box.

    Yep, that’s all I got.

  2. I made sausage and peppers for dinner last night. Never made it before because as a rule I don’t like sausage and peppers, but I ran into an old acquaintance over the weekend who was talking about making it and I decided I had to have some. It turned out great.

We made a Guinness stew in the crock pot yesterday that is seriously one of the most delicious things in the world. We eat on it for days and then freeze some too. Yummy.

THANKS! you have created a serial killer reader in me…. so I downed the 2 Allison Brennan Series “See no Evil” and now “The Kill” in record time – ( I never understood why these books were “labeled” as Romantic Suspense… I GET IT, I think I blushed reading parts! I have moved on to a different genre & then going back to read her other trilogy!
THANKS again, I almost fell off my treadmill this evening ( I have to get my running groove on) I have 6 people counting on me to join them in Philly & I am not even close to ready. So I pushed myself for 6 miles. Well the last mile….guess what comes on my IPOD – (I have not downloaded, anything in months) Safety Dance , – well I starting laughing, lost my balance – nearly fell off the treadmill , I had to slow it to a walk. So I could “Safety Dance” on the mill and sing – the dogs barked &the boys told me be quiet!
For both these things – I blame YOU! Maybe I’ll “somehow” send you a poison apple in a few weeks – there’s your way to kill someone! Oh, wait that happened to SnowWhite–I could be The Fairy Tale Killer. 🙂 oh and I have a delish Apple/Sweet Potato recipe I’ll post!

ROFL — the dangers of the Safety Dance — sorry it’s hazardous to your running! (Some EVIL person planted Lionel Richie’s “Hello” in my head earlier this week…it’s a terrible affliction)

I like the Fairy Tale Killer…may use that!

      Keep on running!
